IKEA recreates tricycle scene from The Shining

IKEA Singapore has raised the bar for Halloween advertisements. Instead of following the path of nearly every other company out there and producing a lame, low-effort piece of Halloween garbage, IKEA Singapore made a brilliant parody of the infamous tricycle scene from The Shining.

We can’t praise this ad enough. It’s relevant in time for Halloween, it promotes unique features about the store (open until 11:00pm and it’s ridiculously massive), it’s clever and it’s fun. Sure, the dad dressed as one of the twins is kind of creepy, but that’s the whole point.
