Jordy Nelson’s Wizard of Oz ad for the state of Wisconsin

Jordy Nelson is in a rather interesting ad promoting tourism to the state of Wisconsin. In a parody of the Wizard of Oz, Nelson is knocked unconscious while playing football on his farm in Kansas. He's whisked away to a magical Fall setting in Wisconsin where he encounters a good witch and some tiny Munchkin Cheeseheads.

Nelson looked a little too happy to be wearing red Bedazzled cleats. Still, we should give Wisconsin credit. They went in an entirely different direction when it comes to tourism ads. Most feature sweeping video, celebrity cameos and the voice of Tim Allen. Wisconsin elected to parody a classic film with Jordy Nelson. It may not be the most effective way to attract people to the state, but it certainly shows Wisconsin loves their football and has a sense of humor.
