Taco Bell’s Afternoon Delight is kind of like Arrested Development

Taco Bell is one of hundreds of chains trying to capitalize on the Happy Hour concept. It’s an attempt to boost sales during a slow period of the day (2pm-5pm) despite the fact the usual idea of Happy Hour involves alcohol and hanging out in an establishment which is nothing like Taco Bell.

With all of that in mind, here’s Taco Bell’s ad titled Afternoon Delight. And yes, it includes the famous ’70s song.

Weird sexual innuendo and Taco Bell. What a great combination. Quick! Ditch work, class and bingo and head on over to Taco Bell!

The whole ad and song pretty much just reminds us of Arrested Development. Sorry, the clip isn’t on YouTube so you’ll have to suffer through a Hulu ad.
